The Founder
I built MJ Clean because the industry left clients stuck between two bad options.
For years I watched the cleaning sector divide into two unhappy camps. On one side, rigid agencies hiding behind opaque hourly billing, charging clients for padded hours they never truly benefited from. On the other, unreliable independents working off classified ads, no insurance, no accountability, no recourse when something went wrong. Greater London, Essex and Hertfordshire deserved a third option, and there wasn't one.
So I incorporated MJ Clean Limited and built the company I wanted to hire. Every cleaner is vetted, reference-checked, and trained on client confidentiality before a single shift. The business carries Public Liability and Employers Liability cover, with certificates available on request. Pricing is flat-rate and transparent: one fixed price agreed up front, based on the size and scope of the job, never an hourly meter or an inflated minimum, and the same rate whether the team finishes early or stays late.
What drives me is a commitment to operational excellence and long-term trust. I want clients to know exactly what they are paying for, with no hidden fees, and to completely trust the people walking into their homes or commercial premises. My motivation is to set a new benchmark for reliability in the cleaning sector across Greater London, Essex and Hertfordshire, one property at a time.
